What is the AGB-M Trade Approved Large Bench Scale?
The AGB-M from Adam Equipment is a rugged, easy to use bench scale that boasts a tough, stainless steel design that makes cleaning down after use quick and simple. This is a trade approved scale which means it can be used to determine the price of an item based on its weight in a transaction.
AGB-M features a stainless steel indicator with visible backlit LCD with 40mm-high-digits that’s mounted to a column for easy reading of weights. The grade 304 stainless steel removable pan makes this scale perfect for applications in the food and catering industries.
AGB-M bench scales have an RS-232 output as standard, meaning you can instantly print weight readings, or send them to a PC. How to use the AGB-M Approved Large Bench Scale
An intuitive indicator with a large, clear weight display makes the AGB-M very simple to use.
To begin, use the power button to turn the scale on, and when the display shows a line of zeroes, you’re ready to start weighing.
Use the ‘T’ button to tare off any unwanted weight, such as a small pallet, box or tray, whilst the object is on the weighing pan.
Choose between g/kg, lbs/oz or Newtons readings by pressing the ‘Unit/Mode’ button.
You can easily set checkweighing high and low limits to ensure items you’re weighing are the correct weight. In the normal weighing mode, press the ‘CHK/Print’ button for three seconds, and when ‘Hi’ appears on the display, use the directional buttons to choose your desired high limit, pressing ‘Tare’ to confirm. Next, use the directional buttons to enter your desired low limit, pressing ‘Tare’ to confirm. The checkweighing function is now set, and the display will illuminate red, yellow or green depending on whether the value is within, under or over the set weight parameters.
