What is the Kern NFN Trade Approved Waterproof Drive Thru Scale?

The NFN is a waterproof, stainless steel platform scale with ramps for easier weighing of palletised goods when using a pallet truck, from German scale manufacturer Kern.

This scale is trade approved, which means it can be used for weighing applications where the price of goods is determined by their weight. Additionally, the platform is certified IP68 waterproof, which means it can be used in environments that may be damp, humid or dusty. Additionally, it can be used to weigh goods or produce that may be wet, or cause a mess during the weighing process.

What are the benefits of using the Kern NFN?

The Kern NFN is a professional, high precision drive thru platform scale, built to last in harsh and demanding environments. The robust platform is made entirely of stainless steel, and extremely resistant to bending due to the thickness of the platform.

The NFN’s ramps on either side are low profile, making it easy to push a pallet onto the scale using a pallet truck. Once the pallet is fully on the scale the weight will appear clearly on the indicator.

This means weighing processes are quick and easy, with pallets weighed with minimum effort.

Weighing modes including parts counting, for accurate counting of multiple identical items instantly; checkweighing, for quick and easy checking of items to ensure weight is correct, and dynamic weighing, allowing you to weigh items that may move whilst on the scale.
